PARK

LOGOgrande.png

In the unmistakable landscape of Etruscan Lazio, the Marturanum park includes a set of gorges carved by streams in the flat tuff plateaus and clayey hills with woods and pastures. Established in 1984, it falls entirely within the Municipality of Barbarano Romano in a hilly area between the Tolfa mountains and the hills surrounding Lake Vico. Thanks to the scarce anthropization and the morphology of the places it is a small wilderness, where it is exciting to discover the traces of the passage of animals or to explore solitary environments cloaked in lush vegetation.
